Dose

Adults: Initially, 0.5 mg colchicine with 500 mg probenecid once daily, increasing to twice daily as tolerated. Maximum: 2 mg colchicine per day. Not recommended for pediatric use. Adjust dose in renal impairment; contraindicated in severe renal, hepatic, or cardiac dysfunction.
