Ophthalmic lubricant and antiseptic; specifically, artificial tear (polyvinyl alcohol/povidone) and iodine antiseptic.
Sterile ophthalmic solution for topical administration to the eyes.
Standard dosing for T Plus Eye Drop (Polyvinyl Alcohol + Povidone Iodine) is typically 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as directed. Safety and efficacy in children, or in patients with renal or hepatic impairment, are not well established; use with caution. Always follow specific product instructions and consult a healthcare professional.
Polyvinyl alcohol and povidone act as lubricants, stabilizing the tear film and relieving ocular surface irritation. Povidone-iodine releases free iodine, disrupting microbial proteins and cell membranes, providing broad-spectrum antiseptic action. The result is enhanced ocular surface moisture and reduced microbial load, supporting eye comfort and infection control.
