Dosage form

API strength per dosage

Glibenclamide 5 mg, Metformin 500 mg per Duotrol Tablet.

Dose

Adults: Initiate with one tablet twice daily, adjust based on glycemic control. Maximum: 4 tablets daily. Pediatrics: Not recommended. Special populations: Use cautiously in renal impairment; contraindicated in severe renal or hepatic dysfunction. Adjust dose in elderly due to potential for renal function decline.
