Donica-SR Capsule contains 75 mg of Indomethacin per capsule.

Dose

Adults: 75 mg once or twice daily. Pediatrics: Not recommended. Special populations: Lower doses may be necessary for elderly or those with renal/hepatic impairment; adjust based on clinical response and tolerability.

Mechanism of action

Indomethacin inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This leads to decreased inflammation, pain, and fever.
