Adults and children ≥12 years: 5–10 mg orally once daily. Children 6–11 years: 5 mg orally once daily. Not recommended for children <6 years. Use with caution in elderly and those with severe dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. Adjust dose based on response and clinical condition.

Avoid use in intestinal obstruction, acute surgical abdomen, severe dehydration, undiagnosed abdominal pain, children under 4 years, hypersensitivity to bisacodyl, prolonged use, caution in elderly, pregnancy, breastfeeding, inflammatory bowel disease, electrolyte imbalance, concurrent use with antacids or milk, rectal bleeding, severe constipation.
Intestinal obstruction, acute surgical abdominal conditions, severe dehydration, known hypersensitivity to bisacodyl or excipients, ileus, acute inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g., Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), severe abdominal pain with nausea and vomiting.
