Dose

Goodmorn Tablet is typically used for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. Standard adult dosing is one tablet at bedtime; if needed, increase to one tablet morning and afternoon. Not recommended for children. Use caution in renal or hepatic impairment; dose adjustments may be necessary. Always follow local guidelines and consult a healthcare professional before use.

Mechanism of action

Doxylamine, an H1 histamine receptor antagonist, reduces nausea by blocking histaminergic signaling in the vomiting center. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) acts as a coenzyme in neurotransmitter synthesis, modulating central nervous system pathways involved in nausea and vomiting. Together, they decrease the frequency and severity of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.

Precautions

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to doxylamine, pyridoxine, or any tablet component, concurrent use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), severe liver impairment, narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, acute asthma attacks.
