Injection (powder for solution), 1000 mg per vial.
Adults: 500 mg to 1 g every 8 hours. Pediatrics (>3 months): 10-40 mg/kg every 8 hours. Renal impairment: Adjust dose based on creatinine clearance. No specific adjustments for hepatic impairment or elderly. Consult specific guidelines for dosing in neonates and for severe infections.

Hypersensitivity to meropenem or other carbapenems, severe hypersensitivity (e.g., anaphylactic reactions) to beta-lactams (penicillins, cephalosporins), meningitis in neonates and infants due to possible drug precipitation in CSF.
