Dose

Lubry-GM Tablet is typically taken as one tablet twice daily with meals in adults. Safety and efficacy in children have not been established. Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment; dose adjustment or avoidance may be necessary, especially due to diacerein. Always follow prescribing information and consult a healthcare professional.

Mechanism of action

Glucosamine supports cartilage matrix synthesis by stimulating glycosaminoglycan production. Diacerein inhibits interleukin-1β activity, reducing cartilage degradation and inflammation. Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) may exert anti-inflammatory effects by modulating oxidative stress. Together, these agents aim to reduce joint inflammation and pain, and slow osteoarthritis progression.
