Dose

Mechanism of action

Acebrophylline, a xanthine derivative, inhibits phosphodiesterase, reducing intracellular cAMP degradation, and blocks adenosine receptors, leading to bronchodilation. Acetylcysteine cleaves disulfide bonds in mucoproteins, decreasing mucus viscosity. Together, they enhance mucociliary clearance and improve respiratory function.
