Betamethasone Valerate 0.1% (base)

Dose

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily for adults and children over 1 year; use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Not recommended for infants under 1 year. Avoid prolonged use, large areas, or occlusion, especially in children and elderly patients.

Indications

Eczema, psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis), lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, seborrhoeic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, insect bite reactions, prurigo nodularis.
