Dose

Adults: 1 tablet (doxylamine succinate 10 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride 10 mg) orally at bedtime; if needed, increase to 1 tablet in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Not recommended for children. Use with caution in elderly and hepatic impairment; consult physician for dose adjustments.

Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (morning sickness) unresponsive to conservative management.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to doxylamine, pyridoxine, or excipients, concurrent use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe liver disease, acute asthma attacks.
