Precautions

Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after completion, monitor for leukopenia and neuropathy, caution in hepatic impairment, potential for Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis, adjust dose in renal impairment, may darken urine, use caution in patients with Cockayne syndrome, report any neurological symptoms.
