Dose

Adults: One capsule once daily, orally, or as directed by a physician. Safety and efficacy in pediatric and special populations have not been established; use is not routinely recommended in these groups. Dose adjustments may be required in renal or hepatic impairment; consult a physician.

Mechanism of action

Benfotiamine increases transketolase activity, enhancing glucose metabolism; mecobalamin acts as a cofactor for methionine synthase, promoting myelin synthesis; alpha lipoic acid scavenges reactive oxygen species and regenerates antioxidants, reducing oxidative stress in neurons. These actions collectively support neuronal function and reduce neuropathic symptoms.

Indications

Diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, neuralgia, neuropathic pain, vitamin B1 and B12 deficiency, adjunct in nerve regeneration, supportive therapy in neurodegenerative disorders.
