Which Kenya PPB route are you preparing for?

Preparing for the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board exams means choosing the right stage or level before choosing your revision material. PharmaProLearn brings Stage I, Stage II, Level I and Level II practice into one place, with a free Test 1 in each supported paper.

Route distinction

PPB distinguishes pre-registration examinations for pharmacists (Stage I and II) from enrolment examinations for pharmaceutical technologists (Level I and II). Use your own PPB registration details to choose the correct route; these tracks are not interchangeable.

Plan what to revise

Check the current official guidance below. Use it with these study priorities to plan your revision.

Stage or level first

Start in the track that matches your qualification and current stage. Keep Paper I and Paper II errors in separate lists so one strong paper does not hide a weaker one.

Calculations with working

Write units at every step in dilution, concentration and quantity calculations. Review your method as well as the final number.

Applied pharmacy practice

Connect scientific knowledge to dispensing, therapeutics, professional judgement and Kenyan pharmacy practice. Check local law against current official materials.

Use the right kind of practice

Practice mode

Use this for learning and reviewing explanations. Stop to understand an error, write the missing principle and revisit the topic before trying a similar task.

Realistic mock mode

Use this to rehearse time management and decision-making without interrupting every question for revision. Review your decisions after the attempt. Check the test’s instructions; an online practice paper is not the official exam.

If you are revising two PPB papers, alternate them across the week. Reserve one session for calculation mistakes and one for explaining a professional-practice decision aloud. Use the diagnostic from each paper to decide which topics deserve your longer sessions.

What to check before you book

  • Your qualification and the pathway you are eligible for.
  • The latest candidate guide, blueprint and examination components.
  • Application deadlines, current fees and required documents.
  • Identification, calculator, reference-material and test-centre rules.
  • How the regulator communicates booking confirmation and results.

Use the official links below for these details. A practice account or paid preparation plan does not register you for the official examination.
