Which GPhC / CRA route are you preparing for?
Prepare for the Common Registration Assessment, often searched for as the GPhC exam, with calculation practice and written-question revision. Use a free test to see where you need to strengthen your approach before committing to a longer practice plan.
The GPhC publishes a Common Registration Assessment framework for 2026 sittings. Use the framework and current candidate guidance for your sitting. PharmaProLearn’s calculations and SBA/matching tracks support revision; they do not replace the official assessment specification.
Plan what to revise
Check the current official guidance below. Use it with these study priorities to plan your revision.
Calculation accuracy
Work methodically with units and retain your unrounded values until the final step. Read the requested unit and precision before submitting an answer.
SBA and matching
Practise distinguishing an acceptable action from the single best answer to the stated task. For matching exercises, assess each stem independently.
Professional practice
Connect practice scenarios to the current framework and UK guidance. Explain the reasoning behind an answer rather than memorising its position in a list.
Use the right kind of practice
Practice mode
Use this for learning and reviewing explanations. Stop to understand an error, write the missing principle and revisit the topic before trying a similar task.
Realistic mock mode
Use this to rehearse time management and decision-making without interrupting every question for revision. Review your decisions after the attempt. Check the test’s instructions; an online practice paper is not the official exam.
Use frequent short calculations sessions alongside longer written-question blocks. In your error log, separate failure to recall a fact from misreading the question or failing to apply it. Rehearse the official question styles using the regulator’s sample material too.
What to check before you book
- Your qualification and the pathway you are eligible for.
- The latest candidate guide, blueprint and examination components.
- Application deadlines, current fees and required documents.
- Identification, calculator, reference-material and test-centre rules.
- How the regulator communicates booking confirmation and results.
