What matters first
PCN describes a compulsory one-year internship training programme before pharmacist registration and publishes PEP cycles/results.
Nigerians whose undergraduate pharmacy degree was obtained outside Nigeria follow the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Orientation Programme requirements.
PCN's public website does not expose a stable detailed PEP blueprint comparable to some other regulators; use the current training manual/exam notice for question format and rules.
Understand the assessment before you optimise your revision
Do not merge PEP and FPGOP into one exam
FPGOP is an orientation/route requirement for the defined foreign-graduate group, while PEP sits within the pre-registration process for pharmacists. Candidates should first identify their route before choosing preparation material.
Use PCN's current notice for format, not third-party memory
Because public PCN pages emphasise registration routes and publish cycle results more consistently than a permanent detailed PEP blueprint, avoid hard-coding question counts or timing from old cohorts. Current PCN candidate/training instructions should govern the sitting.
Prepare for applied Nigerian pharmacy practice
Whatever the sitting-specific item format, the purpose of pre-registration assessment is professional readiness. Build revision around safe pharmacy decisions, calculations, medicine use, ethics and Nigerian professional context rather than only recalling university notes.
This page intentionally avoids claiming an unofficial question count or duration. If PCN publishes a new PEP candidate blueprint, use that official document as the primary format source.
