GPPQE content is explicitly divided into two broad sections by the Pharmacy Council. A strong plan therefore needs both applied clinical/pharmacy-practice competence and Ghana-specific policy, law, ethics and regulatory understanding.
BLUEPRINT TO REVISION
What to study — and where the knowledge connects
These links open broad PharmaProLearn learning units. Use them to rebuild foundations, then return to the regulator's current blueprint or guidance for the exact scope expected in your examination.
Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy
Revise patient assessment, therapeutics, medicine safety, counselling, dispensing decisions and other practice-based problems. Prepare to apply the same knowledge in MCQ, essay and spoken formats.
Build a dedicated Ghana-specific source list for professional rules, health policy and regulatory responsibilities. Do not substitute another country's jurisprudence material for Ghana's current requirements.
Good Manufacturing Practices and quality
The Council includes GMP in Section B. Connect quality systems, pharmaceutical production/handling principles and professional accountability rather than memorising manufacturing terms without context.
Prepare each major topic in three forms: one MCQ decision, one structured written explanation and one short oral explanation.
02
Use current Ghana Pharmacy Council materials for law/regulation and your pharmacy units for transferable science and clinical foundations.
03
Track Section A and Section B weaknesses separately so a strong clinical score does not hide weak local professional knowledge.
Current official guidance wins
The official GPPQE page is unusually specific about examination sections and grading. Use that structure as your revision map, then verify any sitting-specific instructions in the latest Council notice.
