What matters first
Stage routes apply to pharmacist pre-registration; Level routes apply to pharmaceutical technologist enrolment.
PPB's current exams page states this duration for each Stage/Level paper; confirm the notice for your sitting.
Recent PPB sittings use online examinations at designated centres, with rehearsal and mock arrangements communicated by the Board.
Understand the assessment before you optimise your revision
Stage and Level papers are different routes
Do not treat Stage I, Stage II, Level I and Level II as interchangeable labels. The route follows your professional training and registration/enrolment pathway. Use your PPB portal record and the applicable assessment guideline to identify the papers that apply to you.
The online format changes how you rehearse
Recent PPB notices require candidates to use the online examination system and include a compulsory rehearsal, with a mock used to familiarise candidates with the portal. Preparation should therefore include both subject revision and a calm, timed rehearsal of reading and answering on screen.
A failed paper has formal resit limits
PPB's examination information says a candidate who fails Level I, Level II, Stage I or Stage II may re-sit up to two times within five years. Treat an unsuccessful attempt as a signal to diagnose the specific paper weaknesses rather than simply repeating the same revision cycle.
Use the official sitting notice for exact dates, centres, device requirements and any changes to the online process. PharmaProLearn practice is designed to help you prepare; it is not the PPB examination portal.
