Tanzania Pharmacy Council eligibility & application

The Council's published FAQ ties pharmacist pre-registration eligibility to recognised pharmacy education, provisional registration and internship progress, while applications are handled through its online system/PCMIS.

APPLICATION PATH

Work through the route in the right order

  1. 01

    Confirm pre-registration eligibility

The Council FAQ states that a pharmacist pre-registration candidate should be a BPharm graduate from a recognised institution, provisionally registered and have completed at least nine months of internship training.

  2. 02

Use the correct existing online account

Intern pharmacists who already used the online system for internship are directed to continue with that account. Re-sitters are specifically instructed to use the same account used for the previous examination application.

  3. 03

Apply within the current examination window

Council notices announce each cycle and its deadline. Apply early and follow the live online instructions rather than assuming the usual months guarantee a specific date.

  4. 04

Check results/resit conditions from the current notice

The Council publishes cycle-specific result and resit instructions, including conditions for supplementary or failed examinations. Use the notice tied to your attempt.
